Looms, Yarn, and Other Weaving Tools That Need a Home

Sometimes, in the event of the death or illness of a friend or family member, you may be left with looms, spinning wheels, assorted other tools, and supplies such as yarn or fiber for spinning, and not know the best way to either sell or give it away in order to find someone who will use it.

If you are in the greater San Francisco Bay Area, Black Sheep Guild members can help you with this. If you are out of our area and not sure where to turn, we can try to connect you with a local guild.

We can help you assess and determine what to do with the larger items, like looms or spinning wheels, and give advice about what to do with smaller tools and supplies.  Disposing of the “stash” of a friend or family member may seem daunting, but we will do our best to guide you through this process.
